Chapter 441

Sophia Blanchet bent down to pick up the scattered items.

Sebastian Orlando stood pale, his gaze unfocused.

"Mr. Orlando?" Sophia called tentatively.

Sebastian mechanically took the things from her hands. "Go back first."

Sophia pointed to the car parked nearby. "I'll stay tonight in case Evelyn is in danger."

Sebastian ignored her, carrying the bag inside. After just a few steps, he collided with Adrian Valentine.

"Adrian Valentine!" Sebastian's fury erupted instantly. "Evelyn doesn't want to see you!"

Adrian leaned lazily against the doorframe. "I'm here to see my wife. Do I need your permission?"

His tall figure blocked the path, radiating an unapproachable aura.

Sebastion threw the bag down and grabbed Adrian's collar. "Stay away from her! Or I'll make sure the Valentine Group disappears from Vienna!"

Adrian easily pried his fingers loose. "You're the one who should keep your distance."

"You dare talk about distance?" Sebastian sneered. "You hurt her the most!"

Adrian's pupils constricted sharply.

Without another word, Sebastian picked up the bag and strode into the police station.

Adrian straightened his collar and turned to Victor Ashcroft. "Go back first."

Victor shook his head. "I'll stay."

Adrian didn't insist, his gaze fixed on the police station doors. He knew tomorrow was Alexander Durand's death anniversary.

Sophia stood not far away, her phone screen illuminating the whitewashing news about Isabella Langley. She narrowed her eyes, scrolling through the flood of paid comments.

The silence from the Lefèvre family told her everything. Yesterday's visit had made it clear.

Inside the station, Sebastian called softly, "Evelyn, I'm here."
