Chapter 333

Evelyn's piercing gaze locked onto Sylvia, who instinctively recoiled under the intensity.

A direct strike to the core.

Evelyn understood exactly what mattered most to Sylvia.

With deliberate calmness, she delivered the blow. "It's time for a complete overhaul at Radiant Electronics. You should withdraw from the upcoming industry summit."

Sylvia's reaction was immediate. "Absolutely not—"

The words escaped before she could stop them. Radiant Electronics represented her family's last hope. Withdrawing from the summit would be catastrophic.

"Evelyn, I'll agree to anything but this."

Evelyn remained unmoved. "Voluntary withdrawal leaves room for recovery. Forced withdrawal after refusal... well, Radiant might not survive the consequences."

Sylvia's legs nearly gave way.

A wave of terror washed over her. She'd never imagined Evelyn could be this ruthless.

Regret flooded her, yet desperation made her try again. "Evelyn, Radiant is everything to my family. Don't do this."

"I'll apologize properly."

Evelyn walked away without acknowledgment, leaving Sylvia's pleas hanging in the air.

All strength drained from Sylvia's body. She collapsed to the floor as a cold breeze chilled her sweat-drenched back.

Evelyn showed no mercy!

"Ms. Carter is truly blessed - impeccable family background and extraordinary talent."

"In just six months leading Kingsley Industries, she's increased profits by 10%."

"For a multinational that size? The numbers are staggering."

"I envy Ms. Carter's business acumen."

The praise surrounding Evelyn made Sylvia's skin crawl. Watching Evelyn bask in admiration ignited unbearable jealousy.

She scoffed loudly. "She's riding on family connections! No real talent - just a pretty face."

"Ms. Montgomery, we're stating facts. What's your problem?"

"Clearly jealous. Ms. Carter has both beauty and brains."

"Weren't you two close earlier? Strange to hear such backstabbing now."

Mockery fueled Sylvia's rage. "Nonsense! Stop brown-nosing and show some dignity!"

To her, they were just sycophants.

"Evelyn and I were classmates. I know her limitations. Watch me prove it."

Curious glances followed her declaration.

"Inside information, Ms. Montgomery?"

Sylvia smirked. "Evelyn was the class dunce - terrible grades, zero social skills."

Disbelieving looks were exchanged.

"Don't believe me?" Sylvia ground her teeth. "I'll show you her true colors shortly."

Burning with humiliation, Sylvia resolved to make Evelyn share her misery.
