Chapter 321

"Grandfather was thrilled to hear of your return and personally ordered the kitchen to prepare all your favorite delicacies."

Evelyn's eyes sparkled with delight. "I'm being utterly spoiled!"

"You little foodie," Elliot teased as the siblings exchanged playful banter before settling into the family limousine.

The Kingsley Estate spanned across thousands of acres, requiring a fifteen-minute drive from the private airstrip to the main mansion.

Upon arrival, the entire household staff stood at attention by the grand entrance. "Welcome home, Ms. Kingsley!" they chorused respectfully.

Evelyn acknowledged them with a warm smile before stepping inside.

Her rare homecoming had brought all three brothers together. Leonard was equally delighted, pulling Evelyn aside for an extended conversation in the library.

He finally released her when she couldn't suppress her yawns past 10 pm.

"Enough chatter! You must be exhausted from your travels. Get some rest now. Don't forget our chess rematch tomorrow morning."

Evelyn nodded sleepily. "Goodnight, Grandfather!"

As she ascended the marble staircase, she found her three brothers leaning casually against the corridor walls, clearly waiting for her.

Dominic spoke first. "Since you're rarely home, I'm taking you shopping tomorrow. Pick out whatever designer pieces catch your eye."

Elliot rolled his eyes. "How predictable, Dom! Evelyn, I've just opened a state-of-the-art gaming lounge. The VIP experience is unmatched - you'll love it."

Julian cleared his throat dramatically. "Actually, I've discovered several Michelin-starred restaurants in Pearl District. The tasting menus are exquisite. Care to join me?"

The competitive energy between her brothers amused Evelyn to no end.

"I'm completely drained. Can we discuss this tomorrow?"

The brothers exchanged determined glances. "Absolutely not. Choose one," they demanded in unison.

Evelyn sighed dramatically before offering a compromise. "What if I spend half a day with each of you?"

This solution visibly pleased them. Julian immediately claimed, "I'll take morning then!"

"Afternoon's mine!" Elliot declared.

Left with no choice, Dominic conceded, "Fine. I'll escort you to the tech summit the following day."

Perfect! Evelyn beamed at the arrangement.

"Sounds wonderful to me."

After bidding her brothers goodnight, she finally retreated to her suite. The moment her head touched the silk pillows, she was fast asleep.

The next morning, Evelyn awoke to find a face hovering inches from hers.

"Ahh!"

Her instinctive shove was halted mid-motion when she recognized Julian. She exhaled sharply.

"Julian! It's dawn! What are you doing?"

He grinned unrepentantly. "Our breakfast reservation, remember? Or did you forget our Pearl District plans already?"

Evelyn rubbed her temples. "I remember, but your enthusiasm is... overwhelming."

Julian presented an outfit from his latest designer collaboration.

"When my baby sister finally visits? Of course I'm excited! This is limited edition - designed just for you."

Shaking her head fondly, Evelyn accepted the garments and disappeared into the walk-in closet.

She had to admit - Julian's fashion sense was impeccable.
