Chapter 474

Her fingers trembled slightly as she deftly changed the subject. "If you lost your phone, report it to the police immediately. Since they texted you on WeChat, they might already be draining your accounts."

Silence lingered on the other end for a few seconds before Sebastian Valdemar finally exhaled in relief. "I froze all my accounts right away. I was just worried someone might harass you using my phone."

Before he could finish, Sophia Lowell suddenly felt strong arms encircle her from behind. Ethan Roscente's scorching lips brushed against the nape of her neck, his voice rough with sleep. "Why are you up so early?"

Sophia froze.

A sharp intake of breath echoed clearly through the phone.

She glared at the man behind her, but he merely arched a lazy brow, his long fingers toying with her loose strands. "Don't look at me like that. Mornings are dangerous."

"Ethan!" she hissed in warning.

Ignoring her, he traced his fingertips over the fading love bites on her collarbone. The crimson marks stood out starkly against her pale skin—deliberate imprints from the night before.

"I went too hard on you last night," he suddenly announced, raising his voice. "I'll make it up to you tonight."

"Are you insane?" Sophia frantically moved to cover the phone.

Sebastian's suppressed roar erupted from the speaker. "Ethan Roscente, you forced her!"

"Forced?" Ethan let out a cold laugh, snatching the phone from her. "She was screaming my name all night. Guess I have your texts to thank for that." His tone turned glacial. "Remember this—Sophia is mine. If you dare covet her again, I'll make you regret being born."

Sophia's pupils contracted.

Before she could grab the phone back, the call disconnected.

"You—"

A searing kiss swallowed her protest. Ethan cradled the back of her head, his other hand gripping her chin to force her mouth open. The kiss was punishing, as if he wanted to devour her whole.

Only when her legs turned to jelly did he finally pull away, unsatisfied.

"Beautiful," he murmured, thumb grazing her swollen lips, dark desire swirling in his eyes. "This look belongs to me alone."

Shaking with fury, Sophia spat, "How dare you humiliate me in front of Sebastian—"

"Because I'm your man." He tightened his grip on her chin, enunciating each word. "It's time he gave up for good."
