Chapter 318

Yuki Wang huddled in the corner, clutching his head with trembling hands. His lips moved in a broken whisper. "Don't hit me... please don't hit me..."

Before the plea faded, a designer sneaker slammed into his back.

"You deserve this!" The boy loomed over him, voice dripping with contempt. "Just like your whore of a mother. A disgrace to the Wang family. A maid seducing the young master? And birthing this idiot with no rightful name?"

"Exactly!" Other boys jeered in agreement. "They should've been kicked out years ago."

A red-haired teen sidled up to the ringleader. "Hey, Ethan. Grandma's napping. Should we teach this retard a proper lesson?"

Ethan Wang arched a brow, amusement curling his lips. "What'd you have in mind?"

"I think he's faking it," the redhead murmured. "Let's make him drink piss. A real idiot wouldn't know the difference."

Ethan's eyes gleamed. He clapped the boy's shoulder. "Brilliant. Get it ready."

Minutes later, the redhead returned with a soda bottle filled with yellow liquid.

"Here, stupid. Special drink for you." He thrust it at Yuki.

The boy stared blankly at the bottle, making no move to take it.

"See? Told you he's pretending!" The redhead turned away smugly. "Let's report this to Grandma—"

"Is it sweet?" Yuki suddenly giggled.

The redhead froze. He spun back with a coaxing smile. "Super sweet. Try it."

As Yuki raised the bottle, a gaunt figure lunged forward, knocking it to the ground.

"Don't drink that!" A woman wrapped Yuki in a desperate embrace, her voice shaking.

Yuki blinked up at her. "But Mommy, they said it's good..."

"It's poison!" Tears streaked her face as she dropped to her knees before Ethan. "Young Master, please. We'll stay out of your way. Just leave my boy alone..."

Ethan kicked her aside. "Filth! Who said you could touch me?"

She staggered up, pulling Yuki toward the exit.

"Stop!" Ethan barked. "Nobody leaves until he finishes that drink!"

The woman paled. "You... you can't mean..."

"Refuse?" Ethan's smile turned vicious. "Then you'll regret it."

A nod sent the pack swarming. They pinned mother and son to the ground. Someone retrieved the half-spilled bottle with a cruel grin.

The woman's scream tore through the courtyard. "NO—!"
