Chapter 448
Bianca Savigny's fingers trembled as she scrolled through the photos on her phone.
The screen displayed intimate pictures of Luna Fairsprene and Ethan Roscente.
She bit her lower lip until she tasted blood.
"What a cunning little fox..."
She had thought Ethan postponed his wedding with Isabella Valentine because of the car accident. But this bitch had interfered.
The tenderness in Ethan's eyes as he looked at Luna was something Bianca had never received.
Her nails dug deep into her palms.
The bathroom door suddenly opened.
Ethan stepped out in a bathrobe, water dripping from his hair.
"Who let you in?" His gaze turned icy.
Bianca quickly locked her phone and shoved it into her pocket.
"Mr. Evans asked me to deliver your clothes." She lifted an elegant paper bag with a demure smile. "The set you stained at the dinner."
Ethan glanced at the phone on the sofa.
Bianca's heart skipped a beat.
But he merely picked it up and dialed Zachary Evans.
"Where are you?" He pushed open the balcony door, his voice colder than the night wind.
Noisy toasting sounds came from Zachary's end.
"Mr. Yu won't let me leave..." He lowered his voice. "The old man might be testing you."
Ethan lit a cigarette, the ember glowing in the dark.
"Play along."
After hanging up, he turned to face Bianca's infatuated stare.
"Mr. Roscente..." She deliberately tugged her collar lower. "Shall I help you change?"
"Leave it." Ethan's cold eyes swept past her. "Get out."
Bianca paled but persisted. "I can wait until you're dressed—"
"Must I repeat myself?"
She had no choice but to set down the bag and slowly retreat.
Under the hallway lights, she pulled a pill bottle from her purse, lips curling into a smirk.
"Since you're giving me the opportunity..."
In the bathroom, Ethan studied his reflection.
His phone lit up with a message from Luna.
His gaze softened as he quickly replied before slipping it back into his pocket.
A faint noise came from outside.
Ethan's eyes sharpened. He yanked the door open—
Bianca stood frozen in shock, a pill bottle clattering to the floor.
