Chapter 265

"Are you going or not?" The man's slender fingers traced slow circles on the small of her back, his warmth seeping through the thin fabric.

Sophia shivered, her voice trembling. "Ethan, I really don't want to..."

A soft click cut her off.

His fingertip flicked, and her bra clasp came undone. The silk slid down her smooth skin.

She scrambled to catch it, but he was faster. His arm hooked around her, his large hand snatching the fabric and yanking it down. "If you're not going, you don't need this."

Sophia's temples throbbed.

Who said Ethan Roscente was celibate? This sanctimonious hypocrite!

His practiced movements made him seem like a seasoned offender.

She clutched her chest, tugging desperately at the strap. "Ethan Roscente! Let go!"

"Why not call me 'Ethan' anymore?" His low chuckle carried danger. "Go on, my dear niece."

Her cheeks burned. So he hadn't just minded "Mr. Roscente"—he'd remembered "Ethan" too.

Suddenly, he leaned in, his hot breath against her ear. "Call me brother."

"What?" Her eyes widened.

He was her uncle in name!

"Surprised?" His fingers teased mercilessly. "I haven't even made you call me husband yet."

Sophia gasped.

Was he insane?

"Say it." His grip tightened.

She shuddered, a soft whimper escaping. "Stop..."

"Call me brother."

"Brother..."

The whisper ignited him. Ethan crushed her into the couch, kissing her fiercely. Between breaths, his voice roughened. "Sophia, call me Ethan."

Dizzy, her vision blurred. Everywhere his hands touched, electricity sparked.

Lost in the haze, her lips parted. "Ethan..."

"Good girl."

He kissed her burning cheek before releasing her.

As clarity returned, Sophia curled her toes in embarrassment. She glared. "How could you make me say that?"

Ethan tapped her nose. "I'm older. What's wrong with calling me brother?"

This wasn't about age!

It was about propriety.

The man played forbidden games with terrifying ease.

"Give it back." She reached for her bra.

He arched a brow, unmoving.

If she refused to go, she'd leave bare beneath her clothes.
